Visionary Artist & Founder
Behind every flawless bridal transformation is an artist who understands not just beauty, but emotion, elegance, and individuality. Juanita D. embodies this artistry. A former high-fashion model who has graced New York Fashion Week runways and appeared in leading editorials like PUMP Magazine, Juanita discovered early on the transformative power of beauty.
Driven by a passion for empowering women, she transitioned from the spotlight to the artistry behind the scenes. In 2015, she stepped fully into the world of professional makeup, becoming a licensed cosmetologist and training under some of the most sought-after names in the global beauty industry. With certifications from Tamanna Roashan (Dress Your Face), Pink Orchid Studio, and advanced mentorship with celebrity stylist Senada Kanaki Ceka, Juanita perfected a signature style defined by soft-glam sophistication, radiant complexions, and couture-level detailing.
Juanita is not only an artist but also a creative force and global storyteller. Through her lifestyle blog and as an editor for Brown Girl Magazine, she merges travel, culture, and beauty into a unique perspective that resonates with modern brides around the world. As a wealth manager by profession and an artist by passion, Juanita embodies balance, elegance, and excellence in all she does.

Lauren
Senior Makeup Artist
Senior artist Lauren adds a unique blend of artistry and personality to the Glamorous by Juanita team. By day Lauren keeps our city safe while switching to a more creative role as makeup artist at GBJ. Lauren has been in the beauty industry for over 10 years. Her style can be described as clean and natural.
As a professional in law enforcement Lauren brings an ease and attentiveness that is important for brides on their big day. It is no secret that wedding day events are high energy and filled with buzz. When she’s not glamming brides Lauren enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Natalia
Makeup Artist
Natalia discovered her love of makeup at the age of 16. Over the past 10 years she has trained and perfected her technique. She has worked in several New York Fashion Week show and has and done extensive bridal work.
Balancing her artistic love, creativity, and professionalism she has found her calling in transforming brides on their special day. Natalia prides herself on creating bridal looks that will be translated into lifetime memories for her clients. She is a beauty educator in training and enjoys reading and horseback riding in her spare time.
Louie
Senior Makeup Artist
Louie was born in Shanghai, China and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Louie fell in love with makeup at an early age. At 20 she moved to New York to pursue her love of makeup. She enrolled in Makeup Designory School and quickly built resume in fashion and editorial makeup artist.
Louie’s work has been featured in various publications such as PUMP Fashion Magazine, Lewis Magazine, and Vogue Italia’s PhotoVogue. She currently resides in Brooklyn. When she’s not behind the brush, you can catch Louie running to keep up with the newest gem in her life, her daughter Luna.
